Xavi: Watching Champions League games makes me angry

"Mbappé? I don't have to talk about him, I prefer to talk about my players," Xavi told the press conference when asked about Kylian and his performance against Real Madrid on Tuesday.

"Mbappé is a great player, like Messi, like Neymar, like PSG... It makes me angry not to be in his competition, but I don't want to talk about Mbappe."

Mbappe scored a last-ditch goal to seal a narrow win for the Parisians.

"In the Europa League there are also great teams," Xavi added.

"We would like to be in the Champions League but we didn’t do the job so we have to compete in the Europa League.

"We would like to be in the Champions League. Now you watch the games and it makes you angry, yes, of course, but we are in the Europa League and I see it as an opportunity.

"Winning it would open the door to the Champions League and this tie is worthy of Champions League."

Barcelona entertain Napoli at Camp Nou in the Europa League knockouts on February 17. The return leg will be held in Italy on February 24.
