Xavi sends clear message to Barca fans amid Dembele booing

"I would like to ask the fans to please stop whistling at Dembele. He is one more member of the group – they did it today, now please stop. We need to support our team, our players," Xavi has said.

Barca fans were booing and whistling Ousmane Dembele while his name was read by the Camp Nou announcer before the match.

The Frenchman reportedly was the only Barca player to not warm up at the break. He stayed in the locker room instead.
