Xavi reveals how Dani Alves will help Barca vs Napoli despite being out of squad

"Dani Alves is going to be in the locker room [during the Barca-Napoli game] and he's going to help us," Xavi has told the media.

"I was unfair to Dani, but if I had included him in the squad, I would've been unfair to one of the new players too. I decided to make the decision depending on what positions we have covered," the Barca boss explained.

Dani Alves was left out of the Europa League squad. Barcelona could only register three new players for the knockout stages, and they went for Adama Traore, Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Sergino Dest is likely to replace the Brazilian on the right side.
