Victor Osimhen at risk of not playing against Barca, reason revealed

Napoli's goal machine Victor Osimhen may not feature for his team against Barcelona, according to a statement from his club.

The statement reads: "Osimhen did not train and was kept on preventive rest due to an overload in his right knee."

However, the Nigerian powerhouse forward was included in coach Luciano Spalletti squad for the game and has travelled to Barcelona.

Osimhen's energetic and vigorous approach to the no. 9 role has earned him praise in Serie A. But it's also put him at risk of injuries. The 23-year-old currently wears a mask after breaking multiple bones on his face in a league match.
