'The work of journalists doesn’t affect me': Ter Stegen responds to criticism about his poor form
“I don’t give much importance to what I see and read," Ter Stegen said in his press conference for the Napoli game.
"This is football and everyone can analyse what the want, but in the end, it’s me who knows.
"The work of journalists doesn’t affect me. You, the media, you like to add fuel to the fire.
"I understand it's your job but I analyse everything and I'm very calm with my performance because I know I'm doing things right.” the Barcelona first choice goalie added.
Ter Stegen's form has been pretty shaky this season. The German has only kept 8 shutouts in 31 games.
His record in European club competitions is even worse, with 97 goals conceded in 82 matches.
