Sir Alex Ferguson unveils his own statue at Aberdeen stadium
Sir Alex Ferguson was given the honour of unveiling his own statue at Aberdeen stadium Pittodrie.
The Man United legend spent eight years at the Scottish club prior to leaving for Manchester. There, he won three league titles, as well as the European Cup Winners’ Cup final, as well as winning the European Super Cup.
Naturally, he is viewed as the best manager in Aberdeen's history too - which is why the statue was commissioned.
Sir Ale received a standing ovation from the fans who sold out a whole stand to welcome him back.
