Premier League to allow Chelsea to wear Club World Cup winners' badges — Liverpool were forbidden to do so
Chelsea have been handed a special permission to wear their Club World Cup winners' badges in the Premier League, as per the Daily Mail.
Liverpool, who won the competition in 2019, were forbidden to display the badges in the English top flight due to a law which bans mid-season kit changes.
However, Jurgen Klopp's men still continued to wear their Club World Cup winners' badges in other competitions: the Champions League and the FA Cup.
But his time around, Premier League bosses seemingly believe that having Chelsea display the badges will have a 'positive' effect on the English football.
