Manchester United are reportedly interested in Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick as they sent out scout to watch him.
BBC Sport says United manager Ralf Rangnick is a keen admirer of B Schick.
This season, the 26-year-old has scored 18 goals in as many Bundesliga games, with only Robert Lewandowski netting more than him across Europe's top five leagues.
Schick is producing similar numbers to widely hailed sensations in Erling Haaland and Dusan Vlahovic but has gone under the radar in different clubs' striker searches.
Cristiano Ronaldo is United's top goalscorer in the Premier League with eight goals.
Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez and Real Sociedad's Alexander Isak have also been suggested as potential options.
