Man City fans get salty over Trent's Champions League comments

Trent Alexander-Arnold addressed Manchester City's Champions League failure in his press conference, stating that the Reds have won both domestically and in Europe, unlike their rivals.

The right-back explicitly called City an 'amazing team' and said that he did not mean his statement as a dig, rather they were pure facts. However, his comment has not gone down well with our rivals.

Twitter user @City_tactics tweet went viral as he replied to Trent:

Well, his statement is wrong in the first place as Liverpool have won five titles since 2012 (the last decade). A few other Man City fans saltily replied to Trent too:

City fans surely seem to be rattled by Trent - let's hope we beat them in the Champions League and the Premier League this time!
