Jota scores 30th goal in 60 appearances for Reds - taking look at his career here so far
Diogo Jota scored a brace in the 2-0 Leicester City win last night as the Portuguese was his usual, composed self in front of goal.
The second goal was Jota's 30th goal for the Reds in his 60 appearances for the club so far.
With 30 goals in 60 appearances, Jota joins the likes of Robbie Fowler, Mohamed Salah, Fernando Torres, Kenny Dalglish and more in the list of players to hit this mark in as many games.
Jota now has 17 goals this season, which is already the highest tally of a single season in his career.
This season, Jota's goal distribution has been amazing - he has six goals with his left foot, five with his right foot and five with his head, the only Premier League player to have these stats. A perfect goalscoring forward!
The former Wolves man is also behind only Salah in Premier League goals scored this campaign (12).
Here's his shot map in this Premier League season which paints an impressive picture:

The Portuguese is averaging a goal every alternate game for the Reds and the best part is that he hasn't even peaked yet. What a signing!
