James Rodriguez opens door to sensational Everton return
Speaking on his official Twitch.tv channel James Rodriguez said: "Go back to Everton one day? Of course I would go back to Everton.
"It's a spectacular club with incredible fans. Until the last day I was super-professional and I trained to the fullest.
"I wanted to be remembered as I am, a good person and a great professional. It was the coach's decision. Some people love you and others don't, you have to respect that."
James, who moved to the Premier League in the summer of 2020, left Everton in September of 2021 following Carlo Ancelotti's abrupt move to Real Madrid.
New Toffees boss Rafael Benitez (who was actually sacked last month) did not count on the Colombian, forcing the midfielder to find a new club for himself.
