Gavi rejects Barcelona's first contract extension offer

Diario Sport report that Gavi has turned down Barcelona's opening renewal proposal.

The offer does not meet his financial demands. He wants his growing standing within the first team to be reflected in the amount of money he earns.

The 18-year-old has been offered significantly less than some of his teammates earn.

The midfielder wants to stay at Barca and is does not consider any other offers.

Gavi's current deal expires in 2023.
