David Moyes claims Declan Rice worth risen over £100m
"You will need humongous money to get close," West Ham boss David Moyes said about the fee that would be necessary to sign Declan Rice.
"I said in the summer that I thought Declan Rice was £100m. That was your chance to get him cheap. You can make your mind up over what I'm talking about now.
"I feel his commitment. He's under contract and we're really pleased to have him. He's here for certainly a few years.
"He's like a special edition, Declan Rice. There's not many like him.
"He's arguably playing as well as any midfielder in Europe and the prices were expensive in January weren't they?"
Rice is known to be on Man United's radar for several years, as he's seen as a player who might fix their biggest issue in central midfield. Judging by Moyes' words, it might take a club-record fee to prise him away.
The 23-year-old has made 28 appearances for West Ham so far this season, scoring 3 goals and registering 4 assists, while also leading them into the top-four race.
