Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich loses £650 million in ONE day amid Russia–Ukraine tensions
The continued border tensions between Russia and Ukraine have had a massive impact on Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
According to the Mirror, the Russian billionaire has seen his fortune fall by £650 million in a single day, leaving him with a net worth around £10 billion.
Abramovich is a significant shareholder of a mining company called Evraz, which has seen its share prices drop amid fears that Vladimir Putin could soon invade Ukraine.
The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and the share prices could fall even further in the coming days as the United Kingdom contemplates putting further sanctions on Russia.
