Blues might have to sell Kante to sign Rice, who is 'holding out' for move despite Man Utd interest
As per the semi-reliable Daily Mail, West Ham star Declan Rice is 'holding out' for a move to Chelsea.
Manchester United are heavily interested in the player; they view him as their long-term midfield general.
West Ham have put a £100million price tag on Rice, who will be very in-demand this summer as Chelsea and United will go head-to-head for his signature.
Rice would 'ideally love to join Chelsea' - however, the Mail adds that Chelsea might have to sell N'Golo Kante to finance such a big move.
There is reportedly a 'possibility' of that happening as Kante is now in his thirties and has been injured quite a lot during the last two seasons.
Of course, selling Kante would be a very major decision so it's not a certainty as of now. There would no doubt be plenty of suitors for the French midfielder.
