6 managers who could replace Ancelotti in summer
Carlo Ancelotti reportedly could be on the verge of dismissal soon.
Florentino Perez already considers sacking the Italian at the end of the season, as per reports.
We've come up with a list of those managers that could be available in the summer.
Raul
Always a candidate to be the next in charge.
The Whites' legend continues his journey with Real Madrid Castilla after winning the UEFA Youth League with the youth side in the 2019/20 season.
Raul's side aren't really successful as they're only trying to stay up in the Spanish third tier. However, the same can't be said about Barcelona B who are even behind Castilla in the league table right now.
Mauricio Pochettino
The Argentine was said to be among the main candidates to replace Zinedine Zidane – but then Carlo Ancelotti arrived.
Florentino Perez reportedly likes Pochettino and could bet on him if the latter leaves Paris Saint-Germain in the summer (spoiler: his PSG exit is quite likely to happen).
Is Pochettino good enough to handle the group which is not at the same level as PSG right now? Well, signing Kylian Mbappe may be the key to his potential success.
Joachim Low
The 2014 World Cup winner has been jobless since he left Germany in the summer.
The 62-year-old reportedly has always had a sympathy for Real Madrid and could consider turning towards the Whites if there was an opportunity.
Julian Nagelsmann
Nagelsmann has always been on the Whites' radars over the past years. The 34-year-old himself has 'flirted' over the club's reported interest in him several times.
The German is tied to a long-term contract with Bayern Munich, but who knows how this season ends for the Bavarians.
If the Bundesliga side somehow bottles the lead in the league (they are only 6 points ahead of Borussia Dortmund right now) and get knocked out of the Champions League early, everything may be possible.
Or what if he insists on leaving?
Erik ten Hag
The Dutchman is having another brilliant season with Ajax as his side is even considered among the Champions League favourites this season.
Ten Hag has never closed the door to his potential Ajax exit in the summer. The question is whether he would like Real Madrid's project: for now, he's being linked with Manchester United.
Zinedine Zidane
Some Madridistas dream of watching Zizou get the best out of players like Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Paul Pogba.
Zidane remains Real Madrid's cheat code in the Champions League, and we would absolutely not be surprised if he came back again.
However, rumour has it he's waiting for a chance to be in charge of the French national team.
❓ Of course, some other names could be added to this list soon – who's your choice and why?
