Xavi discloses what he told Barca players at half time vs Linares

"At half time, I told the players very clearly that we could talk three hours about tactics but that it was a victory of faith. I could adjust 200 tactical things but it was a matter of faith," Xavi has told the media.

"I tried to not let the players relax because a single mistake could eliminate us, so maybe I was a little more intense on the bench," the Barca boss added.

Barca players seemed to lack focus in the first half. After Xavi made his three subs at the break, however, there was much more structure in Barca's build-up and their attacks started to look slightly more composed.

Blaugrana are through to the next round after the 2-1 win over Linares.
