Wolves Set To Re-sign Forme Player Doherty
Wolves Hampton Wanderers are interested in the re-signing of their former Republic of Ireland fullback Matt Doherty from Tottenham.
Wolves are looking to do a deal to bring Doherty back to Molineux, 18 months after they sold him to Tottenham.
The Republic of Ireland full-back has struggled to make his mark at Tottenham under both Jose Mourinho and now Conte.
But Tottenham insiders have suggested the Spurs boss is not willing to allow the player to leave until he finds a replacement, says the Sunday World.
It remains to be seen whether a deal to bring Adama Traore to Tottenham can be thrashed out without Doherty being part of the transfer.
While Doherty has yet to start a Premier League game for Spurs this season, he has been a regular substitute for Conte and has started in seven cup matches.
