"Too much possession today": Ancelotti trolls Pique as he reacts to Super Cup win

After the win against Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Super Cup, Carlo Ancelotti was asked whether Real Madrid played a better game than against Barcelona.

"Too much possession today," the coach replied, as quoted by Diario AS.

Ancelotti seems to be alluding to Gerard Pique's words after the Clasico. After the game, the Barca defender said that Madrid can only play counter-attacking football.

"Am I serious? No... The build-up was good from the very beginning, we played very well. But in the second half, we gave them the opportunity to get back into the game. Fortunately, Thibaut Courtois saved us from ten minutes of madness."
