REVEALED: Gabon To Use of Sorcery To Aid AFCON Charge
The football federation of Gabon has Revealed they’ll rely on ‘the usage of sorcery’ to help them win the Africa Cup of Nations.
They posted a message through their official Facebook account before the 2-2 draw against Morocco, writing: “Starting tomorrow, every game will be a final. The case there is no longer simple.
We go back to the Mbandja and activate the 12th man and according to the recommendations of Moupetangoye, we will also need the 13th man. Gabon first.”
Mbandja is a language spoken in Gabon by more than 300,000 people.
Moupetangoye is a fictional wizard created by a Gabonese comedian Seany, so this entire 'use of sorcery' is an inside joke used by the federation.
Gabon’s AFCON campaign has been going well so far and their draw against Morocco ensured them a place in the knockout stages, as they’re set to face Burkina Faso in the Round of 16.
