Premier League coronavirus cases drops for second consecutive week
The Covid-19 outbreak that caused havoc among the Premier League teams appears to be under control.
Earlier this week, the English top-flight officials reported a reduction in positive coronavirus cases for the second straight week.
72 new cases were recorded in round of testing from January 3–9, down from 94 in the previous report, which in turn had fallen from 103 the week before.
There's still a matter of rescheduling the postponed fixtures with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham and Leicester City now having multiple games in hand.
