Modric Set To Extend Madrid Stay

 Real Madrid reach an agreement with Croatia Midfielder Luka Modric to extend his contract by a year.

 Modric will sign a one-year contract extension that will keep him at Real Madrid until the summer of 2023. 

 The 36-year-old Croatia international is currently on a rolling 12-month contract which has yet to be extended, raising the possibility of an exit from the Bernabeu this summer. 

 But Modric is understood to have agreed fresh terms with the 13-time European champions that will keep him in the Spanish capital for at least another season.
