Mbappe reportedly in talks with PSG over contract extension
Kylian Mbappe is negotiating over a short-term contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain, multiple sources, including reliable RMC Sport, confirm.
The Frenchman doesn't want to conclude the negotiations yet. However, he is not against committing his future to the Ligue 1 side, The Telegraph note.
Real Madrid are still expected to land Mbappe in the summer. If the player signs a new deal, though, it would mean that he will not arrive for free.
At the same time, a short-term extension would mean that the Whites would need to spend a little (compared to the €200m bid they made in the summer) to afford the 23-year-old.
Mbappe has scored 18 goals and provided 15 assists for the Parisians this season.
