Mbappe 'reaches agreement' with Real Madrid to join next season
Kylian Mbappe has reached an agreement to join Real Madrid as a free agent in the summer, claims German outlet Bild.
The Frenchman has agreed personal terms and will become the club’s highest-paid player upon joining.
Madrid are willing to pay Mbappe a yearly salary of €50m, which would be around €38m (after-tax) – coming around to €790,000-a-week!
This would make the Frenchman the second-highest player in football, just behind Lionel Messi.
Mbappe is set to play Real Madrid as part of PSG in the Champions League in a few weeks time.
While it won’t be possible for him to join the La Liga giants before that, he’s secured an agreement to join them for free once the season is over.
