Jurgen Klopp tests positive for Covid, will miss Chelsea vs Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has tested positive for Covid-19, the club officially announced on Saturday.
The German will now have to self-isolate, forcing him to miss Sunday's Chelsea vs Liverpool clash in the Premier League.
Klopp, who has 'mild symptoms of the virus', is said to be feeling fine at the moment. In the meantime, assistant manager Pep Lijnders will take charge.
A Liverpool statement reads: "Testing has revealed no further positive cases within the playing squad. Three backroom staff members have returned suspected positive results, however."
