Ferran Torres and 8 other players Xavi could get back for Granada game

Barcelona are facing severe squad problems at the moment, but Xavi could recover up to nine players for the game against Granada on January 8, Javi Miguel of Diario AS says.

First of all, Luuk de Jong is back after missing the Linares game through suspension.

Samuel Umtiti and Clement Lenglet have overcome their stomach problems and are expected to enter the list for the game.

Memphis Depay and Ansu Fati could finally get the medical green light.

As for Pedri, Gavi and Abde Ezzalzouli, Barca hope that they will test negative for COVID-19 before Saturday.

Finally, Ferran Torres could be called up for the game if Philippe Coutinho leaves the club in time. Besides the registration problems, though, the winger is still recovering from an injury.

For the previous league game, Xavi had just 11 first-team players available, and two of them were goalkeepers.
