Crystal Palace Enter Negotiations Talk With Arsenal For Nketiah
Crystal Palace has reportedly engaged the Gunners in a Negotiations talk for the signing of Eddie Nketiah.
Palace have a long standing interest in the player and are looking into both a move this month or the summer.
The Eagles would need to pay a transfer fee if they wanted to sign the player this month or a compensation fee if they took him as a free agent.
It is thought any move this month could depend on the future of Jean-Philippe Mateta.
The Frenchman is on a season long loan from Mainz.
Borussia Monchengladbach are in talks with Nketiah’s representatives over a pre-contract.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was asked about Nketiah’s future this morning.
He said: “He’s our player and he’s going to stay with us”.
Nketiah rejected Arsenal’s offer of a new contract in November.
