Atletico Madrid 'not planning' to keep Luis Suarez next season
As per Spanish news outlet COPE, Atletico Madrid are 'not planning' to keep Luis Suarez beyond this season and will try to sell him in the summer.
He joined the club from Barcelona in 2020 and will see his contract expire in less than six months' time.
Last season, he scored 21 goals that helped fire Diego Simeone's men to lift their first La Liga title in seven years.
This term, however, his form has dipped and so has the team's overall impact.
Suarez has scored seven times in the Spanish top flight in 2021/22 but his last league goal came on November 7.
