11 players set to leave Manchester United Unimpressed with Rangnick system
Ralf Rangnick is facing a battle to assert his authority over the Man United squad, as a number of players are growing disillusioned with life at the club, the Mirror reports.
As per a source close to the squad, as many as 11 players 'want to leave' the club. They are understood to be underwhelmed by Rangnick's coaching and unimpressed by the quality of his assistants.
The biggest issues are with those who have been marginalised under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and remain on the fringes of the squad under Rangnick.
Dean Henderson, Jesse Lingard, Eric Bailly and Donny van de Beek are named among the players who would consider leaving United.
Henderson, in particular, wants to go out on loan, although Rangnick is reluctant to let him or most of the other players leave.
"It’s not good," the aforementioned source told the Mirror. "The atmosphere is really bad and it looks like there are going to be big problems ahead for United."
On Monday, the Red Devils suffered their first defeat with the German in charge as they were beaten by Wolves 1-0 at Old Trafford.
