Xavi feels Disappointed by Dembele amid contract talks breakdown

Xavi feels 'cheated' by Ousmane Dembele, Diario Sport's Toni Juanmarti reports.

On December 20, there was a 2-hour staff meeting with Dembele. The Frenchman was told that he was going to be a fundamental piece of Xavi's team.

The player himself assured the staff that he would extend his Barcelona deal.

On December 29, it was reported that there was a breakdown in the negotiations as Dembele's agent had demanded an astronomic salary for his client, as well as a huge signing bonus.
