'We have many offers for him': Mino Raiola links Paul Pogba with surprising new club
"We have many offers for him [Paul Pogba], including a contract extension [from Manchester United]," Mino Raiola told Sport1.
"We’ll see what’s best for him."
The interviewer then asked Raiola if Bayern Munich had made an offer and he replied: "Not yet, but maybe it will come tomorrow. You have to ask Bayern that.
"We deal with everything. But Bayern are the only ones who could afford it. I think we’ll know more in two months."
Contradicting himself in the same interview, however, Raiola added: "The German mentality is different. They cannot and do not want to pay these high salaries.
"The only German club that could do that is Bayern Munich. But even they can’t get to Paul’s salary. Germans are at the bottom of the international salary pyramid."
Granted, the Manchester United star won't settle for a low wage package but he remains an appealing target on a potential free deal.
Despite the contract offer from the Red Devils, Pogba appears to show no inclination towards accepting it.
Real Madrid have been ruled out of the race for the Frenchman but Juventus are believed to be interested.
