Steven Gerrard to miss two Villa games after testing positive for Covid-19
Steven Gerrard's latest Covid-19 test is positive, Aston Villa have confirmed.
The Liverpool legend, who is double-vaccinated, will now self-isolate for seven days. It means he will be unable to attend the next two games against Chelsea and Leeds.
We would like to wish Gerrard a quick recovery.
Aston Villa have improved since Gerrard took charge on November 11, winning four games and losing two.
They are tenth in the league table ahead of the Boxing Day clash against Chelsea at Villa Park.
