Sergio Aguero agrees to give up Barcelona contract
Sergio Aguero has agreed to give up the second year of his Barcelona contract after announcing his retirement.
Aguero has renounced the second year of his contract at Barcelona and the money he gets from the liquidation of his contract comes from this season's salary.
Sport says Barcelona will get a bit more breathing room than they expected as he is charging much less than he would have done otherwise.
It will allow them to register Dani Alves in La Liga and ensure the Brazilian can play against Real Mallorca on January 2.
Barcelona are working on important deals but for that they need more good news on the salary front with player exits.
