Romelu Lukaku calls for 'action' after alleged racial abuse of Vincent Kompany
Anderlecht's 2–2 draw against Club Brugge on Sunday was marred by an alleged racist incident involving Vincent Kompany.
The Anderlecht manager — and some of the players and staff members — were reportedly targeted with racial abuse throughout the game.
And Kompany's former Belgium teammate Romelu Lukaku has called on the Belgian Pro League to take swift action and find those who orchestrated the abuse.
The Chelsea striker wrote on Instagram: "I hope you will take action now. An icon like Vincent being scolded for his dark skin... enough is enough. F*** you and your hashtags. Take some real action!"
