Real Madrid 'growing in confidence' of landing Rudiger next summer
According to the very reliable The Athletic, Real Madrid are 'growing in confidence' that Antonio Rudiger will sign a pre-contract with them in January and join them for free next summer.
As a reminder, the German's contract at Chelsea is set to expire at the end of the season. As per reports, Rudiger will not extend the deal with his current club due to disagreements over wages.
Rudiger is regarded as one of the best defenders in the Premier League at the moment, having established himself as an undisputed starter for the Blues.
This term so far, Rudiger has played 20 games for Chelsea, recording two goals and two assists. The 28-year-old has helped his team keep 11 clean sheets.
