Ranking Barca's 6 possible Europa League opponents from best to worst

The 6-team list of Barcelona's potential Europa League play-off opponents has been confirmed.

Let's rank all the teams from best to worst right now and suggest the best-case draw scenario for Barca.

1. Napoli
Comfortably the toughest draw, unless Luciano Spalletti's side suffer a dip in form in the coming months.

Napoli had been in the lead in Serie A for several matchdays before Milan threw them off the first place. Anyway, it is quite clear why they lost the leading spot given the number of injured players: Kalidou Koulibaly, Fabian Ruiz, Lorenzo Insigne, Victor Osimhen have been all out lately.

2. Lazio
While being just 8th in the league table, the Italian side are known as experienced Europa League participants, reaching the quarterfinals in the 2017/18 season and qualifying from their group on 6 occasions in the previous decade.

Guess there's no need to elaborate on their squad strength a lot: Ciro Immobile, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Pedro all play there and it would be a complicated draw for us.

3. Rangers
The reigning Scottish champions haven't really struggled following Steven Gerrard's departure. Former Barcelona man Giovanni van Bronckhorst has led Rangers to a winning streak in the league and secured a point away against Lyon which is quite impressive.

The Dutch manager spent 4 years alongside Xavi at Barca and he definitely knows something about Blaugrana's DNA. Without a doubt, he would be well-prepared for the fixture ahead.

4. Braga
The Portuguese side are well behind Porto, Benfica and Sporting in the league table, but they are also a side that could cause much trouble.

Braga have lost just one league game since August, and it was a predicted away defeat to Benfica.

Former Barca man Abel Ruiz is one of Braga's strikers – he will be extra inspired to find the net against the Catalans who didn't give him much game time.

5. Dinamo Zagreb
Despite not being as strong as Napoli or Lazio, the Croatians have built a team capable of reaching the biggest heights in the Europa League or the Conference League.

Last season, Zagreb sensationally eliminated Tottenham Hotspur after an inspiring individual performance from Mislav Orsic who has just scored the Goal of the Week in the European competition.

As many as 5 Dinamo players make Croatia's national team squad from time to time, so they have what it takes to challenge us in style.

6. Olympiacos
As usual, the Greek side are doing very well in their league, having a season without defeats so far, yet the way they spent their Europa League campaign isn't so good.

Olympiacos have 3 losses out of 6 games in the group stage and were at risk of not qualifying for the next stage.

Given there are no big names on the team, except for Mathieu Valbuena and Tomas Vaclik, we consider Olympiacos to be the easiest opponent for Barca.
