Ralf Rangnick 'doesn't believe' Paul Pogba deserves new Man United deal
Whether he remains on at Man United as a head coach or as a consultant, Ralf Rangnick will have a say in the future of Paul Pogba whose current deal expires in June.
According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, the German 'does not believe' the midfielder deserves a new contract at Old Trafford.
That would leave the door open to all the potential suitors, including Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG.
Pogba is yet to feature under Rangnick due to a thigh problem but they have spoken on the phone, as the interim head coach revealed.
Rangnick would probably want to see the Frenchman in action before making a final decision on his future.
Pogba started the season with four assists in the opening 5-1 win over Leeds but then his form, as well as that of his teammates, tailed off.
His last Premier League appearance was a 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool when he got an unnecessary red card 14 minutes after coming on as a sub.
