Newcastle allowed Saudi Arabian sponsorship deals
The Premier League is set to allow Newcastle United to take on sponsorship deals from Saudi Arabia.
The Magpies are owned by a Saudi-backed consortium, with many Premier League clubs uneasy over the deal.
However, the league has now lifted a temporary block on the club securing sponsorship deals from the Arab nation.
According to the BBC, the Premier League will only approve deals that it sees as fair market value.
Newcastle are set to begin their spending under the new regime when the January transfer window opens on January 1st.
