Man City 'ready to double' Bernardo Silva's wages in new contract offer
Man City are ready to hand Bernardo Silva a new lucrative contract to secure his future at the club, claims the Sun.
The Citizens are ready to double the midfielder’s wages and offer him around £300,000-a-week.
This would make Bernardo one of the highest-paid players at the club alongside Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling.
De Bruyne reportedly gets £385,000-a-week, while Sterling receives around £300-a-week from City.
Silva has enjoyed a brilliant season with the Premier League leaders after being close to leaving the club in the summer.
Bernardo has scored 7 goals and registered 2 assists in 23 appearances, with Pep Guardiola regarding him as the best Portuguese player in the league.
