Laporta thinks Barca will be able to sign Haaland
Joan Laporta thinks that Barcelona will have the financial muscle to sign Erling Haaland next summer, as per Cadena SER's Sique Rodriguez.
It is difficult to imagine, however. Already in January, Barca reportedly need to conduct a few sales in order to be able to register new signings, including even Dani Alves.
Besides, the Catalans reportedly struggle to pay Manchester City €60m for Ferran Torres in a single payment and could only do it in installments. Thus, it is hard to imagine us spending at least €100m on Haaland, let alone his huge wage demands and commission fees.
According to other credible sources, Real Madrid and Manchester City are best-positioned to sign the superstar Norwegian.
The 21-year-old has scored 74 goals in just 73 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.
