Klopp on Liverpool's equalizer: 'I didn't see it back but the assistant told me it was all good'
"I didn't see it back," Klopp told BT Sport after the game about the controversy surrounding Liverpool's equalizer.
"I heard it plenty of times. He [Eddie Howe] is not happy about it. I didn't see it back.
"Quite frequently players go down in the box when they lose a challenge. The assistant on my side told me all good."
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe was not best pleased with the referee who didn't stop the game when Isaac Hayden went down in the box before Liverpool's equalizer.
However, it was all fair as far as Liverpool were concerned, with the Reds simply making the most of the situation to seal the win.
