Jesse Lingard will not be leaving Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to the Telegraph, a tier-two source.
The 28-year-old is 'likely' to depart the club as a free agent at the end of the 2021/22 campaign after seeing out the rest of his Old Trafford contract.
The forward, who opted to stay and fight for his place in the summer, is yet to start a single Premier League game for the Red Devils so far this season.
Talks over a new long-term agreement have failed to go anywhere and Lingard's 22-year association with Man United is set to come to a conclusion at the end of the season.
