it's not sustainable': Fan details area where Chelsea need lots of improvement

More than 45% of Chelsea's goals so far this season have come from their defenders, with the likes of Reece James and Antonio Rudiger contributing a lot on the other end of the field.

However, the Blues' lack of attacking prowess cost them in the 3-2 loss against West Ham and a fan believes that this is not an isolated incident. ExpectedChelsea wrote: "Look at the number of chances Manchester City and Liverpool create in and around the six-yard box - that is the mark of a well-oiled offense.

"That is the level we have to get to, we aren't there yet. Part of it is down to personnel, part of it is down to the fact we're too cautious.

"We all joke about defenders scoring a lot of our goals - myself included. While it is funny, rival fans also have a point. We can't keep relying on unlikely sources.

"We need more sustainable methods of chance creation. We saw flashes recently but we're back to bad habits again."

The injuries to Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner haven't helped this season but for sure, Thomas Tuchel does need to organise his attack better if we are to win major titles.
