Ex-PSG coach joins Man Utd as academy scout
Manchester United have named Jerome Klein as their new French academy scout.
Klein joins United after working for over 13 years at Paris Saint-Germain in a range of academy roles before he left in 2020 to take up the role of technical director at Kosovan side FC Besa, reports the Manchester Evening News.
United's new academy scout will be tasked with unearthing the hottest young talent in French football as the club looks to continue their rich history of signing players from across the channel.
France icon Eric Cantona remains one of the greatest players in the history of the club, having joined from Leeds in 1992, while in more recent years, Paul Pogba, Hannibal Mejbri and Willy Kambwala were all signed from French youth academies.
