Dortmund deny Haaland has release clause, new asking price revealed
Many outlets previously reported that Erling Haaland's contract with Dortmund includes a clause that allows him to leave the club if an offer of around €75m–€90m arrives next summer.
"I cannot confirm a termination clause exists," Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told AS of Haaland's contract, as quoted by Football Espana.
"More than 90% of our contracts with players don’t contain a termination clause."
However, according to AS, Dortmund would agree to sell Haaland for €100m next summer.
The German side are still hopeful of keeping the Norwegian striker at the club amid intense interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
