David Okereke Out For The Year
David Okereke will be out of action for at least three weeks after suffering a muscle injury in his side’s 4-3 loss to Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie A on Sunday, reports Megasportsarena.com.
It means that the former Club Brugge of Belgium will not kick the ball for the rest of year.
The Venezia forward who wasn’t available for the team’s 4-0 loss to Atalanta on November 30 due to a hamstring injury, was rushed back into action against Verona but lasted just seven minutes before falling to the ground unchallenged.
According to trivenetogoal.it, “David Okereke underwent a diagnostic on Tuesday after the injury he suffered against Verona.
“An injury to the to the flexor was found for the Venezia forward, which will lead to a stoppage of about three weeks.”
