Chelsea have no more wing-backs, everybody is injured: Tuchel Revealed

Chelsea welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge on January 2 but Thomas Tuchel is not thinking about the next game after drawing 1-1 against Brighton.

"No need to look ahead," he told Amazon Prime after the game.

"We can try to find players who are ready to play. We have no more wing-backs, we have everybody injured.

"Players coming back from Covid situation and they're playing, playing, playing.

"I will always protect my players. I want to digest this and not talk about the next game."

Reece James picked up an injury in the Brighton game. Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Ben Chilwell will miss the rest of the season.

Marcos Alonso, who is in need of rest, had to come off the bench in the middle of the first half today.

Christian Pulisic deputized at right wing-back against Brighton.
