Chelsea fans react to Lukaku's brilliant return vs Aston Villa after series of goals drought

Romelu Lukaku needed just 45 minutes to win the Aston Villa game for Chelsea.

The Belgian scored a great header before winning a penalty in the extra time to seal the victory.

Even some fans who were critical of Lukaku in previous weeks can not deny that he was unstoppable at Villa Park.

No_Resist_4486: "This is exactly why we paid 100m for Lukaku. If he can keep this up most weeks we’re definitely bringing this title race to City, absolutely priceless contribution today"

Jason2571: "I hope all the 'Lukaku is too static' talks die down. We just need to provide more service to him like today and he'll do us wonders. And I don't mean just crosses, those midfield through balls too. He's big, but he's a beast with the ball at feet too."

alx69: "This team needs Lukaku, I don't care about pressing or whatever else anyone says"

Fabs74: "Sky gave him MOTM even tho he only played a half. Was f**king immense today. Hope it continues"

@FrankKhalidUK: "If Romelu Lukaku stays fits & plays like he did in the second half, it will give us a great chance of winning a trophy. We are still in 5 competitions & with players returning it promises to be a great season."

@CFC_Raf "Made me laugh when people thought Lukaku was bad. He's easily our best and only world-class attacker."

@ConnCFC: "Lukaku scored his only chance, created a big chance for Mount, won Chelsea a penalty in all 45 minutes. Now he wins man of the match. World-class."

@CFCMod_: "Romelu Lukaku came on and completely changed the game for us man. He deserves 100% credit for this. I’ll never give up on him."

Mason Mount: "Look how fresh and fit he looked when introduced yet some impatient fans here questioning why Tuchel kept him on the bench. Now we can see he's putting his struggles aside and bullying opponents"

Michael Sunny: "Am so happy he found his confidence back, he should just keep it up, we all know what he is capable of, so let us just keep giving him the support he needs"

Caneray: "I’ve been critical the past few weeks, but if the big man plays like this for the remainder of the season, we should be a far better squad."
