BREAKING: Carrington shut down, Man United in talks to cancel Brentford game
First-team operations at the Carrington training centre have been shut down, Manchester United announced on Monday.
Three positive Covid-19 cases have been confirmed among the first-team staff and members of the Old Trafford squad by PCR tests.
The Red Devils are currently in talks with the Premier League whether it is safe for everyone involved to play tomorrow's game against Brentford.
According to The Athletic, a tier-one source, there's 'a possibility' that Tuesday's trip to Brentford could be cancelled with Carrington shut down for 24 hours.
A club statement reads: "Individuals who tested positive are isolating per Premier League protocols. Team and staff travel to London will be deferred pending the result of that discussion."
