Borussia Dortmund CEO gives key update on Haaland's future - names club most interested in him
Speaking about Erling Haaland’s future, Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Bild: “I know that all European top clubs want him especially Real Madrid.
“The big interest of Real is confirmed. I think someday the Spanish league would fit better to him than the English. In general we’re hoping he stays.”
Haaland has suitors from all around Europe and could be the point of a huge bidding war in the summer. Real Madrid are interested in him, but are likely to focus on Kylian Mbappe’s signing ahead of Haaland’s.
The likes of Man City, Man United, PSG and Barcelona are all rumoured to make a move for the Norwegian goal-machine – who could be available for around £70m next summer.
